If you’re looking for a photographer in Corralejo, you’re in the right place. I’m Ramón, a professional photographer based in Corralejo for over a decade. I know every corner of Fuerteventura — from the dunes to the volcanic coastline in the north — and I know exactly how to make the most of the light and landscapes of this island to create photos that are genuinely worth keeping.
On this page you’ll find everything you need to know: what kind of photography I do, how I work, where we shoot, and how to book your session.
Who I Am
My name is Ramón de la Cruz. I came to Fuerteventura over ten years ago and never left. Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds of people against this extraordinary landscape: families on holiday wanting a real memory, couples celebrating an anniversary, tourists who want to take home something more than phone photos. I also work in aerial photography with drone — a perspective that in Fuerteventura produces spectacular results.
My approach is relaxed, unhurried, and natural. I believe the best photos happen when the person in front of the camera forgets they’re being photographed. That’s the moment I’m always looking for.
What Kind of Photography I Do in Fuerteventura
I work across four main areas:
| 📷 Portraits & Couples Individual or couples sessions Outdoors: dunes, beaches, old town Natural style, no forced posing Duration: 60-90 minutes | 👨👩👧 Families Family sessions with children Dunes at sunset and beaches Adapted to each family’s energy Delivery: 40-80 edited photos |
| 🔒 Boudoir Intimate and artistic sessions Outdoor (dawn dunes) or indoor Complete privacy and confidentiality For any age and body type | 🚁 Drone & FPV Professional aerial photography Cinematic FPV video For individuals and businesses AESA-certified operator |
Why Corralejo Is the Best Setting
I’ve been telling clients this for years — and they always agree once they see the results. Corralejo has a variety of natural settings that nowhere else in Spain can offer in such a small area.
- The Dunes: over 2,500 hectares of white sand with a sunset light that turns any photo into something extraordinary.
- The northern beaches: turquoise water with sandy floors that from the drone look like the Caribbean.
- The old town: narrow streets, whitewashed walls and colourful doors. An authentic urban backdrop that gives a completely different character to portraits.
- The volcanic coastline: cliffs and lava formations with unique textures, particularly striking in aerial photography.
I know all of these locations deeply. I know which time of day gives the best light at each one, where the crowds are thinnest, and how to get the most out of every setting for every type of session.
How a Session with Me Works
- First contact. You message me on WhatsApp or through the contact form. Tell me what kind of session you’re looking for, what dates you’ll be in Fuerteventura, and any ideas you have.
- We plan it together. We choose the location, the time and the day. If you have reference photos you’ve liked, share them — they’re the perfect starting point.
- The session. 60 to 90 minutes, unhurried. I guide you naturally throughout — you don’t need to know how to pose.
- Delivery. Within 7-10 days you receive your edited photos in full resolution through a private online gallery, ready to download, print or share.
